Drama classes and camps are offered for children ages five through twelve and for teens and adults.

All materials and costumes are provided, including DVD of final performance and T-Shirt.

Emphasis is given to ensemble work and building confidence. All levels of theater experience are accommodated. Family and early registration discounts are available as are partial-need-based scholarships.

We are also pleased to offer voice lessons and advanced classes in monologue and scene study for young adults.

Class Descriptions

All Students will work towards a final production of either new or classic material. Emphasis is given to ensemble work, diction, projection, stage movement, audition techniques and creating a character.

Beginner Level - students will create an original play with music in a positive, nurturing and educational environment to build confidence and self-esteem.

Intermediate Level - students will create an original play with more complex characters and plot devices. For students ready for a higher level of commitment to performance.

Advanced Level - students will prepare material from a variety of sources to boost their acting and audition skills. For dedicated students who plan to perform in community theater and/or beyond.

Guidelines for Class Levels

Beginner Level - student has never previously attended a TLAC class or camp

Intermediate Level - student has taken 1-2 classes or camps at TLAC

Advanced Level - student has taken 3 or more classes or camps or been cast in a main stage show.
